Yamaha is one of the top selling bike company in the world. Therefore, it is no surprise that Yamaha almost outsells all other competitors in Nepal as well. The automobile manufacturer company from Japan offers various models of bikes in Nepal. The Yamaha Fazer 25 is one of them. The Fazer 25 is the faired version of Yamaha FZ 25, and shares almost same parts and specs.

As mentioned, the Yamaha Fazer 25 is powered by a 249 cc, single cylinder, oil-cooled engine similar to the FZ 25. The engine produces a maximum power of 15.3 kW (20.8 PS) at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 20.1 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Like every Yamaha bikes, the Fazer 25 also has Fuel Injection as fuel delivery system.Moreover, with the help of constant mesh, 5 speed transmission, the bike achieves a top speed of 150 kmpl. Also, with the engine and transmission, the bike can go from 0 to 100 kmph in under 10 seconds.

The Fazer 25 has a modern look and stylish design to it. Beside its look and design, the bike is also equipped with different features. The features of the bike includes LED headlamp, LED tail lights, alloy wheels, dual horns, aerodynamic front cowl, two LED pilot lamps, LCD display unit among others. In addition, the LCD display units gives the reading of average fuel economy, speed, time and trip meters. Moreover, dual channel ABS comes standard with the bike.

The design, features, fuel efficiency, brake and safety features along with its engine and performance makes the Yamaha Fazer 25 one of the best bike in its category. Also with ABS as a standard feature, the price tag of Nrs. 4,14,900 does not seem expensive. Bikes like Hyosung GT250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Benelli 302R, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Honda CBR 250R are the direct competitors of the Fazer 25.
