The incident, which occurred while a female driver was operating the scooter at a speed of only 35 km per hour, resulted in the driver being admitted to the ICU of a hospital with serious injuries.

The company also mentioned that out of 150,000 units of Ola scooters currently in use, this is the only reported incident.
