Honda recently launched the updated version of the 3rd gen Jazz in India. The Honda Jazz 2020 is said to have some new features and some changes in the appearance. Likewise, it has an electric sunroof, which is one of the features that has been highlighted. It is the only car with electric sunroof in its price range, to date. Moreover, the headlight, tail lamps and fog lamps are now LED. Let us look at other features of the car along with the specs and expected price in Nepal.

Exteriors

The update in the new Jazz has minor styling changes which include a new front bumper and new chrome detailing around the glossy black front grille. Similarly, the hatchback has all-LED headlights and fog lamps. However, the advanced Advanced LED Headlamps with DRL and Fog Lamps are only available in the ZX version of the car. Moreover, the rear bumper has some changes as well.

Talking about the dimensions of the hatchback, the overall length is 3,989 mm with an overall width of 1,694 mm. Likewise, the overall height of the Honda Jazz is 1,544 mm with a wheelbase of 2,530 mm. Talking about the weight of the car, it weighs 1085 kg. Moving on to wheels, the Honda Jazz 2020 has R15 Alloy with tubeless tyres that are 175/65 R15 in size. The hatchback also gets a rear wiper.

Interiors

There isn’t much change inside the new Honda jazz. The car has 5 seats with leg space and headspace. the design of the dashboard is the same but the centre console is angled towards the driver. Likewise, the dashboard now has a soft-touch pad. The boot of the care is also big with 354 L space. Talking about comfort, as it has big space, long drives would be a problem when it comes to comfort.

Moving on to equipment, it has a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Likewise, it has cruise control, push-button start, as new features. Other features include radio, USB & Auxiliary input, Outside Temperature Display, Digital Odometer, Digital Clock and so on.

Engine & Performance

Honda Jazz 2020 has the same 1.2 i-VTEC Petrol engine but with bs6. It has 1 199cc displacement. It can produce 88.51bhp@6000rpm of max power. Also, it can generate 110Nm@4800rpm of torque. The car has  17.1 kmpl of mileage with a fuel capacity of 40 litres. It is available in manual as well as automatic transmission. The front suspension is Mcpherson Strut Coil Spring whereas the rear is Corsion Beam axle, Coil Spring.

Talking about the safety, it has Anti-Lock Braking System, 2 airbags, child safety lock, a reverse camera and rear defogger.

The price of the hatchback in India starts from Rs. 7.49 lakes. There is no reports on when the new Jazz will arrive in Nepal. As it is the updated version of the 3rd gen jazz it may arrive with in 5-6 months in Nepal. The expected price if the car is Rs, 35-50 lakh.
