Bike Tax in Nepal 2082/83

The latest bike tax rates in Bagmati Pradesh, Nepal for the fiscal year 2080/81 have been determined based on the engine displacement (CC) of the bikes. For bikes with an engine displacement of up to 125 CC, Bagmati province bike tax rate is set at Rs 3,000. Bikes ranging from 126 CC to 150 CC will have a tax rate of Rs 5,000. For bikes falling within the 151 CC to 225 CC range, the tax rate is Rs 6,500. Similarly, bikes with engine displacements of 226 CC to 400 CC will be subject to a tax rate of Rs 11,000. Those with engine displacements of 401 CC to 650 CC will face a tax rate of Rs 20,000, while bikes with engine displacements exceeding 650 CC will be taxed at a rate of Rs 30,000. These tax rates aim to regulate and generate revenue from the ownership and use of bikes in Bagmati Province.

Similarly, bikes with engine displacements ranging from 251 CC to 400 CC will be taxed at a rate of Rs 9,000. For bikes with engine displacements exceeding 400 CC, the tax rate is set at Rs 16,500.
