BS6 engine commands huge attraction in the bike market and unsurprisingly, Honda Nepal has launched its new scooter Honda Grazia BS6 model in Nepal. Design
Sporting a more aggressive look, the new design is quite similar to its older model. The housing remains the same with LED headlights, which serve the purpose of making it more visually appealing. However, one downside is the use of bulbs instead of LED in the side indicators. The most obvious change is the position of the DRL which is mounted on the handlebar.
Moving towards the rear of the BS6 model, it has been tweaked just to be a little sharper and cleaner.
When talking about designs, we just cannot leave the dashboard behind, can we? On ignition, it has two fully digitalized panels. The above display shows the speedometer and tachometer. And the secondary shows time, Odometer, and fuel level gauge.
Additionally, Honda Grazia BS6 is available in four color variations: Pearl Sparten Red, Pearl Siren Blue, Matte Cyber Yellow, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
Engine
It comes with a new 124cc 4-stroke single-cylinder, SI engine, and fan cooling system. It can generate a maximum power of 8.15 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5000 rpm, which is less powerful than the previous model. In addition, it has a fuel tank volume of 5.3 liters, a Fuel Injection system (FI), and an automatic V-Matic transmission offering a mileage of 35-40 km / l.
The Grazia 125 BS6 is not quite as powerful as its BS4 sibling, but the engine powering it is known for its superior smoothness and has various efficiency-increasing technologies such as an offset cylinder, tumble flow, piston cooling jet, optimized crankshaft, and piston weights. Even better news is the new Idle-Stop system that should also contribute to more mileage, especially on roads with heavy traffic.
