About five hundred smart licenses kept by the Janakpur Transportation Management Office for distribution to service recipients have been found in a paddy field. Bipin Karna, head of the office, admitted that a driver’s license was found in a paddy field near the Mujelia-based transport office in Janakpur.

While harvesting paddy in the field, the workers saw the license and handed it over to the office on Wednesday afternoon.
Karna also said that an investigation is underway into how the license, which was kept safe in the office room, reached the paddy field.
