Yamaha, one of the leading automobile manufacturer company, has launched a new “dark” designed bike in MT-15. The “dark” design in the bike is taken from its previous siblings Mt-09 and MT-10. The Yamaha MT-15 in Nepal is a 155 cc engine bike but more to a premium side. In addition, the pricing of the premium bike is not expensive at all.

Yamaha MT-15 Overview

The Yamaha MT-15 in Nepal powers a 155 cc single cylinder, 4 valve, 4 stroke, air cooled engine. The engine MT-15 uses is same as that of R-15 V3. The engine produces a maximum power of 18.2 bph at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 8,500 rpm. Since the engine in MT-15 is same as R-15 V3, the performance is almost indifferent. With 6 speed manual transmission gear box, MT-15 can achieve a top speed of 136 kmph. In addition, the bike has a fuel injected system and a BS6 complaint emission standard. Moreover, Yamaha MT-15 in Nepal is available in two color variants: Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black.

Yamaha MT-15 comes with various features in that include unique LED headlights, vertical tail light, dynamic front face styling, VVA engine for agile acceleration among other. In addition, the MT-15 also features “optimized secondary reduction gear ratio”, A&S clutch for smooth gear shifting and single channel ABS for excellent braking. The 10 litres of fuel capacity is considered okay since the bike is fuel efficient and gives a mileage of between 40-45 kmpl.
