Electric cars are now the future of the car industry as the fuel consuming cars are polluting the environment and health of people and aiding in global warming. Electric cars are safe for the environment and people and use renewable energy, thus their demand and popularity are increasing day by day. Hence there are a lot of new upcoming electric cars in Nepal.

DFSK Glory E3

DFSK Glory E3 is one of the upcoming electric cars in Nepal that comes with a lot of features and with a slick design. Talking about comfort and convenience, it will have Power Windows Front, Power Windows Rear, Low Fuel, Warning Light, Adjustable Seats, Rear Seat Headrest, On-Board Computer, Automatic Headlamps, Electric Folding Rear View Mirror, Heater, Folding Table Rear, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, Keyless Entry, Foldable Rear Seat and Central Console Armrest. It will have speakers both at the front and rear with Bluetooth connectivity and a touch screen.

When it comes to safety, it has  Anti-Lock Braking System and Child Safety Locks. It has a Driver and Passenger Airbag with Side Airbag-Front. Tata Nexon EV

Tata Nexon EV tries to achieve maximum comfort and convenience, it will have Smart Entry, Power Windows Front, Power Windows Rear, Low Fuel Warning Light, Adjustable Seats, Heater, Front cupholders, GPS Navigation System, and many more. It will have speakers both at the front and rear with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a touch screen.

When it comes to safety, it has  Anti-Lock Braking System and Child Safety Locks. It has a Driver and Passenger Airbag. There are Electronic Stability Program, ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts, and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. Tata Motors Nepal will be sole authorized distributor of Tata Nexon EV

DS 3 Crossback E-Tense

DS 3 Crossback is a compact-size luxury crossover based on the EMP1 platform of Groupe PSA. It comes in a range of petrol and diesel engines along with an electric version known as ‘E-Tense’. DS 3 has a 136 PS/260 Nm e-motor and a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery under the hood, which delivers a claimed range of over 300 km under the WLTP cycle. It can propel 0 to 100 mph in 8.7 seconds. The driver-assistance systems include a semi-autonomous lane-keeping system, matrix LED headlights, and unlock and start assist via a smartphone app.

Mahindra eKUV100 is a mini SUV-based EV. It has a 15.9kWh liquid-cooled battery which is good for a claimed range of 147km. Its features include connected car tech which allows you to set the temperature of the air conditioning before you get into the car.
