Suzuki Vstrom 250 Price in Nepali

Last Updated on October 8, 2023 by Swastika Oli

VG Suzuki, the official distributor of Suzuki motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, is preparing to bring the V-Strom 250 adventure motorcycle to the Nepali market. This process had previously been halted due to a ban on importing this motorcycle, but the ban has now been lifted.

The V-Strom 250 is a motorcycle built for adventure touring. It has a 249 cc single cylinder oil cooled engine that generates 26 PS of power at 9300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7300 rpm. It also has a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built with a telescopic front suspension and swing arm suspension at the rear. Its lights are all LED, and it features a fully digital console, ABS, side stand sensor and front visor. The V-Strom 250 is a versatile motorcycle suitable for both on and off-road use.

The V-Strom 250 will be competing with the KTM 250 adventure motorcycle, which is currently being sold in Nepal. In the Indian market, the KTM 250 is more expensive than the Suzuki by 30,000 rupees. Currently, the KTM 250 Adventure is being sold in the Nepali market for 8 lakh 18 thousand rupees. It can be estimated that the Suzuki V-Strom 250 will be around 8 lakh to 850 thousand rupees in Nepal.

Besides KTM, Benelli also has been selling the 250 Adventure in Nepali market but it doesn’t have a good presence on the road. This is where the Suzuki V-Strom 250 coming to Nepal will have an advantage as it is a well-established brand known for its reliability and durability.

The Nepali market for adventure motorcycles is growing, with more and more riders looking for motorcycles that can handle both on and off-road conditions. The V-Strom 250 is a perfect fit for this market, offering a balance of power and handling, as well as the ability to tackle different types of terrain. The V-Strom 250 is a great option for those who want to explore the Himalayas and the rugged terrain of Nepal.
