The government of Nepal is planning to build 5 high-capacity charging stations for electric vehicles in Singha Darbar, the country’s main administrative center. These charging stations will have a capacity of 30 kilowatts and will be built by the Energy Development Decade Action Plan Project under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
The construction of these charging stations is expected to increase the use of electric vehicles in Nepal, as there have been few charging stations available in the country until now. The ministry has invited private or public organizations to participate in the bidding process for the construction of these charging stations.
