Before we discuss the BS-VI scooters available in Nepal, let us know what BS-VI is. BS stands for Bharat Stage which is an emission norm. The BS-VI norm in India states that up to April of 2020, every vehicle in the county should have a BS-VI engine. It is done to control and regulate air pollution. Moreover, in simple words, we can say that BS-VI is cleaner, less pollution and toxic gasses.

So if you are using any vehicle with a BS-VI engine you are helping in improving the environment, your health and heath of other living beings as well. In Nepal many companies are supplying BS-VI scooters, bikes and other vehicles which is a good thing. Likewise, here is the list of some of the BS-VI scooters that are available in Nepal.

Honda Activa

Honda Activa is powered by a Fan Cooled, 4 Stroke, BS-VI, 124 cc Engine. It can produce a max power of 8.29 PS @ 6500 rpm and torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5000 rpm. It is noted to be an automatic transmission with a mileage of 60 kmpl. Likewise, it has a Stroke of 63.1 mm and Bore of 50 mm.  It has a fuel capacity of 5.2 L and is available in 2 variants: STD and DLX.

Honda Aviator

Honda Aviator is powered by an Air-cooled, 4 stroke, SI, BS-IV engine, 109.19 cc Engine. It can produce a max power of 8.03 PS @ 7000 rpm and torque of 8.94 Nm @ 5500 rpm. It is noted to be an automatic transmission with a mileage of 60 kmpl. Likewise, it has a Stroke of 55.6 mm and Bore of 50 mm.  It has a fuel capacity of 6 L and is available in Pearl Igneous Black, Rebel Red Metalic, Matt Selene Silver Metallic and Pearl Amazing White.

Honda Dio

Next on our BS-VI scooters list is, Honda Dio. It is powered by a Fan Cooled, 4 Stroke, SI, BS-IV engine, 109.51 cc Engine. It can produce a max power of 7.76 PS @ 8000 rpm and torque of 9 Nm @ 4750 rpm. It is noted to be an automatic transmission with a mileage of 55 kmpl. Likewise, it has a Stroke of 63.1 mm and Bore of 47 mm.  It has a fuel capacity of 5.3 L and is available in 2 variants: STD and DLX. the colours available are Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metall, and Pearl Igneous Black.

Hero Pleasure Plus

Hero Pleasure plus is powered by an Air-cooled, 4-stroke Single Cylinder OHC BS-IV engine, 110.9 cc Engine. It can produce a max power of 8.1 PS @ 7000 rpm and torque of 8.7 Nm @ 5500 rpm. It is noted to be an automatic transmission with a mileage of 69 kmpl. Likewise, it has a fuel capacity of 4.8 L and is available in POLE STAR BLUE, MATTE RED, SPORTY RED, and MATTE GREEN.

Yamaha FASCINO 125 FI

Fascino 125 is powered by Air-cooled, Single-Cylinder, 2-valve, BS-VI complaint Fuel Injection, 125 cc engine. It can produce a max power of 8.2 PS @ 6500 rpm and torque of 9.7 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Also, the scooter has a mileage of 58 kmpl and a fuel capacity of 5.2 L. It has a kick-start function and a self-start function. Likewise, the transmission is V-belt automatic with a CVT gearbox. It is also available in some fun colours.

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI is powered by a BS-VI, Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, 125 cc SI Engine. It can produce a max power of 8.2 PS @ 6500 rpm and torque of 9.7 Nm @ 5000 rpm. It is noted to be a V-belt automatic transmission with a mileage of 58-60 kmpl. Likewise, it has 3 Valves Per Cylinder with Stroke of 57.9 mm and Bore of 52.4 mm. The scooter’s mileage is 16% higher than the 113 cc variant. It also has 30% more power output. The scooter is available in 2 variants the normal Ray ZR 125 FI and Street Rally 125 FI. The price of the Ray ZR 125 is ₨229,900 and Street Rally variance is ₨254,900.

Honda Grazia

Last scooter in the BS-VI scooters list is Honda Grazia. It is powered by a Fan Cooled, 4 Stroke, SI, 124 cc Engine. It can produce a max power of 8.2 PS @ 6000 rpm and torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5000 rpm. It is noted to be an automatic transmission with a mileage of 60 kmpl. Likewise, it has a Stroke of 63.1 mm and Bore of 50.0mm.
