Transport Management Office of Kathmandu valley has decided not to conduct examination for a new driver’s license immediately.
Head of driving license office in Ekantakuna,Sambar Bahadur Karki said that no decision has been taken to open a new license immediately. It is due to COVID 19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
Since last April, DoTM has not conducted an examination for a new license. They were conducting examinations for new licenses, renewing them and distributing licenses.
As there will be a crowd, the service won’t open immediately. He added. The examination of the driving license will be taken after the situation will go a bit normal.
The office had started distribution and renewal of licenses since last June.
