Sipradi Trading, the official dealer of Tata Motors in Nepal, is set to introduce the long-range model of the Nexon EV, the Nexon Max, to the Nepalese market. The Nexon Max is a more advanced and feature-rich model than the current Prime model that is being sold. The Max model has a larger battery, more range, and a more powerful full motor than the Prime model. According to Sipradi sources, preparations to bring the Nexon Max to Nepal are in the final stage, and it is expected to arrive in Nepal by the end of February.

The Tata Nexon Max has a 40.5 kWh battery and a 105 kW motor, which is more powerful than the Prime model’s 95 kW motor. It also has a multi-regenerative braking mode, and the battery has been certified by ARAI to give a range of 453 km on a single charge. The Nexon Max comes in two variants, XZ Plus and XZ Plus Luxury, and has dual charging options, with a standard 3.3 kW charger and a 7.2 kW charger. It takes 15 to 16 hours to fully charge the Nexon Max with a 3.3 kW charger, while a 7.2 kW charger can fully charge it in just 6 hours.

The Nexon Max also has some additional features compared to the Prime model, such as illuminated gear navigation with park mode, electronic parking brake, air purifier, disc brakes on all four wheels, cooled seats, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, Smart Watch Connect, and Cruise Control. However, the price of the Nexon Max is expected to be higher than the Prime model due to an increase in taxes and duties.
